نظام سیاسی عربستان و چالش حقوق بشر با تاکید بر حق تعیین سرنوشت

یکی از مهم‌ترین کارکردهای نظام های سیاسی حمایت از حقوق بشر و تامین آن‌ها می‌باشد اما ساختار برخی از نظام‌ها به گونه‌ای است که نمی‌تواند این امر مهم را محقق سازد، از جمله می‌توان به عربستان سعودی اشاره کرد که در چند دهه گذشته، همواره یکی از مهم‌ترین چالش‌های سیاسی این کشور در عرصه داخلی و بین‌المللی، مباحث حقوق بشری بوده است، لذا بررسی نسبت این نظام سیاسی با وضع حقوق بشر در این کشور ضروری به نظر می‌رسد. سوال اصلی نوشته آن است که: نقش نظام و ساختار سیاسی عربستان سعودی در نقض حقوق بشر شهروندان آن کشور به‌ویژه حق تعیین سرنوشت چیست؟ با روش توصیفی- تحلیلی و بررسی اسناد چندگانه حقوق بشر اسلامی و حقوق جهانی بشر و دیگر اسناد مرتبط، در فرضیه بر این امر تاکید شده است که جریان فکری وهابیت به‌عنوان نرم‌افزار اندیشه حاکم بر نظام سیاسی، نظام سلطنتی موروثی، ساختار ناعادلانه دادرسی و عدم وجود نهادهای مدنی در عربستان سعودی به نحوی است که شهروندان را از بنیادی‌ترین حقوق بشر یعنی حق تعیین سرنوشت و آزادی‌های سیاسی، محروم می‌سازد امری که موجب عدم دستیابی شهروندان به بسیاری از دیگر حقوق مانند حق رای، حق انتخاب‌گری، حق انتخاب شدن و حق نقد و انتقاد می‌گردد.

one of the most important functions of political systems is to support and ensure human rights. however, the structure of some systems is such that it cannot realize this important goal. one example is saudi arabia, where, for several decades, one of the most significant its political challenges in both domestic and international arenas has been human rights issues. therefore, examining the relationship between this political system and the state of human rights in the country seems essential. the main question of the research is: what is the role of the political system and structure of saudi arabia in violating the human rights of its citizens, particularly the right to self-determination? through a descriptive-analytical method and by examining multiple documents related to islamic human rights, global human rights, and other relevant documents, the hypothesis emphasizes that the wahhabi ideological current, as the dominant thought framework of the political system, alongside the hereditary monarchy, an unjust judicial structure, and the absence of civil institutions in saudi arabia, deprives citizens of their most fundamental human rights, namely the right to self-determination and political freedoms. this situation leads to citizens’ inability to access many other rights, such as the right to vote, the right to choose, the right to be elected, and the right to critique .
