چالش ها و مشکلات آموزش و پرورش در دوره ابتدایی

هدف کلی آموزش و پرورش در هر جامعه ای این است که هر فرد را بر طبق الگوی اعتقادات و ارزشهای فرهنگی،دینی، اجتماعی و سیاسی خود تربیت کند و انسانهای شایسته ای را به جامعه تحویل دهد. با توجه به این مطلب رابطه مستقیم و هماهنگی میان جامعه و آموزش و پرورش وجود دارد. با تغییر جهان بینی ها، فرهنگ ها و اعتقادات گوناگون انسان، اهداف آموزش و پرورش نیز تغییر خواهد کرد. ماهیت قرن 21 ایجاب می کند که مشتریان انتظارات رو به تزاید داشته باشند چون قرن 21 به قرن انفجار دانش و اطلاعات مشهور است . اطلاعات اینترنت در هر 6 ساعت 2 برابر می شود . بیش از 3 هزار شبکه تلویزیونی ماهواره یی به امر اطلاع رسانی مشغول هستند. دانش اجتماعی و اطلاعات عمومی مردم بسیار بالا است. تقریباً تمام کسانی که به دنبال توسعه واصلاحات هستند در همه جای دنیا از آموزش و پرورش شروع می کنند و رویکردهای برآمده از عصر  جدید ارتباطات و فناوری ها در تعلیم و تربیت از جمله دیدگاه حداکثری مبتنی بر خود یادگیری و چگونگی یادگیری (فراشناخت)، یادگیری فرایندمدار و مستقل موجب حرکت تدریجی در باز تعریف مفاهیم اساسی تعلیم  و تربیت شده است.  علم، تدریس، معلم، شاگرد، محتوای  درسی و مدرسه در حال احراز تعاریف جدید  هستند.
