   performance evaluation of hydrogen-natural gas blends in gas turbines: a case study of the mapna mgt-75 gas turbine

چکیده    This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the hydrogen value chain and examines technologies at each stage, from production to storage and utilization. it then focuses on the integration of hydrogen-natural gas mixtures into gas turbines to produce cleaner and more efficient electricity. drawing upon prior research in this field and juxtaposing the attributes of hydrogen fuel with those of natural gas, this study delivers a thorough analysis of the hydrogen utilization cycle as a turbine fuel. additionally, a case study analyzes the performance of the mgt-75 turbine from the mapna group using a hydrogen and natural gas fuel mixture, employing simulation in thermoflow software. the results indicate that incorporating hydrogen into natural gas in a gas turbine yields significant positive effects on power output and efficiency. the addition of hydrogen to the fuel mixture improves combustion, resulting in increased temperature and pressure within the combustion chamber. this enhancement in combustion quality translates into higher gas turbine efficiency and reduced fuel consumption. moreover, employing a blend of hydrogen and natural gas in turbines emerges as an effective strategy for reducing co2 emissions and enhancing environmental sustainability. this approach has the potential to elevate performance standards while simultaneously mitigating the environmental impacts associated with advanced energy production technologies. however, the transition to hydrogen energy faces challenges throughout the value chain and environmental pollutants such as nox, which necessitate further research and development in this area.
