خطرات ژئومورفولوژیک و راهکارهای پیشگیری از آنها

کشور ایران با انواع بلایای طبیعی مکرر ازجمله سیل، زلزله، خشکسالی و طوفان شن دست وپنجه نرم می کند، متاسفانه به ژئومورفولوژی و جایگاه ویژه این رشته در پیش بینی، ارزیابی و آسیب پذیری در مناطق مستعد به مخاطرات طبیعی همچنان اهمیت چندانی داده نمی شود و علیرغم هشدارها، پیش بینی ها و ارزیابی های متعدد مردم و مسئولین همچنان هنگام مواجه با وقوع رخدادهای مخاطره آمیز، همچنان غافلگیر می شوند؛ لذا این پژوهش به اهمیت نقش ژئومورفولوژیست ها برای ایجاد استراتژی های مناسب ارزیابی و مدیریت ریسک میپردازد.

iran is dealing with frequent natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, droughts and sand storms, unfortunately, geomorphology and the special position of this field in forecasting, evaluating and vulnerability in areas prone to natural hazards are still not given much importance. and despite numerous warnings, predictions and evaluations, people and officials are still surprised when faced with dangerous events; therefore, this research deals with the importance of the role of geomorphologists to create appropriate risk assessment and management strategies.
