چکیده    Growing concerns over water quality arise from the increasing presence of organic contaminants, like colors, antibiotics, herbicides, and pesticides. various methods address this issue, including absorption, coagulation, filtration, and oxidation. photocatalytic degradation, utilizing light energy for reactions, garners significant interest. in this study, g-c3n4 synthesized with melamine forms a base for zif-8 nanoparticles, creating bi/g-c3n4@zif-8 composite photocatalysts. these catalysts demonstrate intense visible light absorption, improved carrier separation, thermal stability, and recyclability. they offer promises for purifying sewage and degrading organic waste. the research aims to enhance semiconductor-based photocatalysts for effective water treatment, providing insights into mitigating water pollution for environmental sustainability.
