چکیده
|
Additive manufacturing (am) has gained significant attention due to technological advancements. selective laser melting (slm) is a prominent method for producing metal parts. despite its advantages, slm can induce high residual stress in the produced parts, leading to defects like cracks and deformation. this study utilizes a new abaqus finite element software feature to predict residual stress in slm-produced ti6al4v alloy samples under various power settings and actual machine conditions. the optimal laser power for producing a part with the lowest residual stress was determined.
