نهاد ناآرام بشر همواره او را به سوی ناشناخته ها سوق داده است و نتیجه آن ورود ابزارهای جدید و در نهایت تغییر سبک زندگی آدمی بر این سیاره کهن بوده است. هوش مصنوعی یکی از همین ابزارهای نوین است که تحولی بنیادین ایجاد کرده است. این پدیده فرصت هایی در تمامی زمینه ها از جمله حوزه پایداری زیست محیطی و تغییرات اقلیمی ایجاد کرده و تسهیلات و امکاناتی را تعریف و طراحی می کند که در ایمن سازی، بهینه سازی و پیشگیری از انقراض تنوع زیستی بسیار موثرند؛ در عین حال، هوش مصنوعی باوجود فرصت هایی که برای زندگی آسان تر و پیشرفته تر بوجود آورده، با چالش هایی نیز همراه بوده است. نوشتار پیش رو ضمن معرفی این پدیده، به برخی از چالش ها و فرصت های هوش مصنوعی اشاره می کند و برایندهای آن را در توسعه پایدار زیست محیطی بررسی می کند.

challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence in the environmental sector, climate change, and regulatory proposals in this field

the restless nature of humanity has always driven it towards the unknown, resulting in the introduction of new tools and ultimately changing the human lifestyle on this ancient planet. artificial intelligence, a transformative power in our modern world, is one of these tools that has brought about a fundamental transformation. this phenomenon has created opportunities in all areas, including environmental sustainability and climate change, defining and designing facilities and capabilities that are very effective in securing, optimizing, and preventing biodiversity extinction. however, despite artificial intelligence’s opportunities for easier and more advanced living, it has also been accompanied by challenges. this paper, while introducing this phenomenon, highlights some of the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence and examines its implications for sustainable environmental development
