شناسایی شایستگی های استاد راهنما برای ارشادگری پژوهشیِ دانشجویان دکتری

مقدمه و هدف: ارشادگری پژوهشیِ دانشجویان دکتری برای موفقیت علمی و حرفه‌ای این پژوهشگران تازه کار ضرورت دارد. هدف پژوهش حاضر شناسایی شایستگی‌های استاد راهنما برای ارشادگری پژوهشیِ دانشجویان دکتری بود.روش شناسی پژوهش: پژوهش حاضر از لحاظ هدف، کاربردی و با رویکرد کیفی انجام شده است. داده ها با انجام مصاحبه های نیمه ساختاریافته با 20 عضو هیات علمی و 20 دانشجوی دکتری که به صورت هدفمند انتخاب شدند، گردآوری و اشباع نظری حاصل شد. جهت تحلیل داده ها نیز از روش تحلیل مضمون استفاده شد. یافته ها: از تحلیل داده های کیفی پژوهش در نهایت 44 کد اولیه بدست آمد و کدهای بدست آمده در 7 مقوله طبقه بندی گردید که عبارتند از: شایستگی های تخصصی، شایستگی های فنّی، الگوهای رفتاری، اخلاق علمی، الگوهای نگرشی، ویژگی های شخصی، شایستگی های حرفه ای.بحث و نتیجه گیری: با توجه به یافته های این پژوهش، ارشادگری پژوهشیِ دانشجوی دکتری توسط استاد راهنما مستلزم برخورداری وی از 7 دسته شایستگی شامل شایستگی های تخصصی، شایستگی های فنّی، الگوهای رفتاری، اخلاق علمی، الگوهای نگرشی، ویژگی های شخصی، شایستگی های حرفه ای می باشد. یافته های این پژوهش می تواند در ارزیابی شایستگی های استاد راهنما برای ایفای نقش به عنوان ارشادکنندة پژوهشی و طراحی برنامه ها و دوره های آموزشی با هدف تقویت شایستگی های موردنیاز اساتید راهنما برای ارشادگری پژوهشیِ دانشجویان دکتری مورد استفاده قرار گیرد.

background and objective: research mentoring of doctoral students is essential for the scientific and professional success of these novice researchers. the aim of the current research was to identify the supervisor’s competencies for research mentoring of doctoral students.research methodology: the current research is applied in terms of purpose and using a qualitative approach and phenomenological method. the data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 20 faculty members and 20 doctoral students who were purposefully selected and reached theoretical saturation. thematic analysis was also used to analyze the data.findings: from the analysis of the qualitative data, 44 initial codes were identified and classified into 7 categories including: specialized competencies, technical competencies, behavioral patterns, scientific ethics, attitudinal patterns, personal characteristics, and professional competencies.conclusion: according to the findings of this research, the research mentoring of doctoral students by the supervisors require that they possess 7 categories of competencies, including specialized competencies, technical competencies, behavioral patterns, scientific ethics, attitudinal patterns, personal characteristics, and professional competencies. the findings of this research can be used in evaluating the competencies of supervisors in their role as research mentors and to design training programs and courses with the aim of enhancing the necessary competencies of supervisors for research mentoring of doctoral students.
