چکیده

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of 1:100 ionite (amberlite irc748, dowex m4195) - solution system in the adsorption of water-polluting heavy metals from aqueous solutions. factors affecting the adsorption of copper, zinc, lead, and cadmium ions from solutions, such as the initial concentrations of pb2+, cu2+, zn2+, and cd2+ ions, as well as adsorbent dosage, equilibrium, internal diffusion, gibbs energy, entropy, and temperature, were studied. the results showed that amberlite irc748 and dowex m4195 resins exhibited high volumetric capacities (326.35 mg/g and 160.65 mg/g) when separating pb2+ ions from sulfated solutions. at concentrations of heavy metals between 0.5 and 1.0 g/l, the maximum adsorption efficiency from aqueous solutions reaches 90-95% for cu (ii) and 92-97% for pb (ii) at 25 ℃ using 1.00 g of sorbent for 2.5-3 hours with a ph adjustment of 3.5-5.5. the sorption of the sorbents with the studied ions was analyzed by atomic and ir. the values of the obtained experimental results are exactly consistent with the langmuir and freundlich isotherms, indicating that the adsorption of the studied ions on the resin occurs according to the chemisorption mechanism. in all cases, selectivity is controlled by the enthalpy factor, heat release, and a decrease in entropy. while calculating the thermodynamic parameters, the ionite phase was assumed to be ideal. in other words, the activity coefficients of the ions sorbed in the ionite phase were not taken into account.
