   cost-effective voltammetric assay based on modified screen printed carbon electrode for determination of 4-aminophenol

چکیده    This study presents the development of a sensitive electrochemical sensor utilizing a nanocomposite of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (mwcnts) with a zeolitic imidazolate framework (zif) containing cobalt (co) composite modified screen-printed electrode (spe) for the recognition and detection of 4-aminophenol (4-ap). the sensor was fabricated using a simple drop-coating method, resulting in enhanced electrochemical performance characterized by high sensitivity, low detection limit (lod), and excellent selectivity. the sensor demonstrated a peak current sensitivity of 0.0604 μa.μm-¹ and a lod of 0.02 µm for 4-ap. the exceptional performance is attributed to the unique properties of the mwcnts/zif (l) (co) composite, such as a low charge transfer resistance, and a high density of active sites. the sensor’s effectiveness was further validated through its application in detecting trace levels of 4-ap in water samples, showcasing its potential for environmental monitoring and diagnostics.
