چکیده    We have developed a simple method for the regioselective aromatization of polysubstituted cyclohexanone derivatives in the presence of iodine (25 mol %), pd/c (10mol%) in dimethyl sulfoxide at 90°c. , afforded functionalized biphenyls with at least one phenolic hydroxyl in moderate to very good yields.
