تحلیل مدخل آیه مباهله در دانشنامه الیورلیمن

کتاب قرآن، یک دائره المعارف از جمله پژوهش های اسلامی در غرب است که با سرویراستاری پروفسور الیور لیمن در سال 1391ترجمه آن در انتشارات اطلاعات به چاپ رسیده است. رویکرد اصلی ایندائره المعارف پرداختن به مفاهیم و موضوعاتی بوده است که به زعم تهیه کنندگان آن، در ارتباط با مطالعات دارای اهمیت قلمداد شده است. یکی از این موضوعات آیه مباهله(آل عمران/ 61 ) بوده که طی مدخلی به نام مباهلهبه قلم رفیق برجک به طور فشرده به رشته تحریر در آمده است. از آنجا که آیه مباهله به یکی از مهمترین وقایع تاریخ صدر اسلام اشاره دارد که خود سرچشمه موضوعات و مباحث مهم کلامی و اعتقادی در اسلام بوده است، به نظر می رسد که ضروری باشد مدخل مرتبط با آن در این دائره المعارف مورد تحلیل و بررسی قرار گیرد. این مطالعه انتقادی که به سبک نظری با استفاده از روش، توصیفی - تحلیلی به انجام رسیده است نشان می دهد که مدخل مورد نظر در این دائره المعارف، به رغم اهمیت موضوعی فراوان، حجم و تحلیل لازم را دارا نیست و علاوه بر آن، نگارنده اهمیت کلامی موضوع مباهله یعنی برتری کلامی اسلام بر کلام مسیحیت را مورد توجه قرار نداده است. این در حالی است که ضمن نادیده گرفته شدن اهمیتتاریخی موضوع مباهله از منظر فرق و مذاهب اسلامی، نگارنده مقاله درک صحیحی از لغت شناسی مبحث نیز نداشته است.

the book quran is an encyclopedia of islamic research in the west, edited by professor oliver leaman. in 2012, its translation was published in ettelaatpublications. the main approach of this encyclopedia has been to address the conceptsand topics that, according to its authors, it is considered important in connection withstudies. one of these topics was the verse of mubahila (al-imran / 61) which waswritten by rafik berjak during an entry called mubahila it has been compactlywritten. since the verse of mubahila refers to one of the most important events in theearly history of islam, which was itself the source of important theological issues anddebates in islam, it seems necessary to analyze the related entry in this encyclopedia.this critical study, which has been done in a theoretical style using a descriptiveanalyticmethod, shows that the entry in question in this encyclopedia, despite itsgreat thematic importance, does not have the necessary volume and analysis, and inaddition, the author has not considered the theological importance of the subject ofmubahila, that is, the theological superiority of islam over the theology ofchristianity. however, while ignoring the historical importance of the subject ofmubahila from the perspective of islamic sects and religions, the author of the articledid not have a correct understanding of the lexicography of the subject.
