correlation beetween sense of coherence (soc) and quality of life (qol) in cancer patients: a systematic review

Objective:  quality of life (qol) in cancer patients is more important than being only alive. in all types of cancers, treatments and complications of treatments affect patients’ quality of life directly and indirectly. so finding ways to improve the quality of life in cancer patients is one of the priorities of the health system. one effective way is the improvement of the sense of coherence (soc) which is one of the components of salthogenic medicine. in this research, we investigated the effect of sense of coherence on quality of life in cancer patients through a systematic review.methods and material: as the research method was a systematic review, in our search strategy, we searched some databases, such as pubmed, scopus, cochrane, web of science, and embase. at first, we studied all the articles, and based on their title, we chose some of them. then based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the study, appropriate and related articles were selected. casp (critical appraisal skills program) checklist was used to evaluate the articles. finally, eight articles remained for analysis. then the results were extracted and synthesized.results: in this review, it was found that in most studies there was a strong association between soc and qol, but some variables, such as age and stage of cancer, could impress the degree of this association. the differences between the kinds of questions in different questionnaires might be the result of these differences.conclusion: taken together, there is a moderate correlation between soc and qol and some other factors can influence both of them, so we should do more research to find the factors that can improve the soc in cancer patients.

آیا ارتباطی بین حس انسجام (soc) و کیفیت زندگی (qol) در بیماران سرطانی وجود دارد؟ یک بررسی منظم.

مقدمه: کیفیت زندگی (qol) در بیماران سرطانی بیش از زنده بودن مهم است. در انواع سرطان ها به دلیل بیماری ، دوره درمان و همچنین عارضه درمان ها ، qol بیماران به طور مستقیم و غیر مستقیم تغییر می کند. بنابراین یافتن راهی برای بهبود کیفیت کیفیت بیماران سرطانی یکی از اولویت های سیستم بهداشتی ما است. یک راه موثر بهبود حس انسجام (soc) است که یکی از ملفه های پزشکی سالتوژنیک است. در این تحقیق می خواهیم در یک بررسی منظم بدانیم soc چه تاثیری بر qol در بیماران سرطانی دارد.روش ها و مواد: هدف ما این بود که یک بررسی منظم انجام دهیم ، بنابراین در استراتژی جستجوی ادبیات خود ، ما در برخی از پایگاه های داده مانند pubmed ، scopus ، cochrane ، وب علم و embase جستجو کردیم. سپس ما مطالعات مناسب را در زمینه عنوان ، معیارهای ورود و انصراف و علامت آنها در معیارهای برنامه ارزیابی ارزیابی انتقادی (casp) انتخاب می کنیم. 8 مطالعه برای مطالعه ما باقی مانده است. سپس داده ها را استخراج کرده و نتایج را ترکیب می کنیم.یافته ها: در این بررسی ، در بیشتر مطالعات ارتباط قوی بین soc و qol وجود دارد ، اما برخی از عوامل مخدوش کننده مانند سن ، مرحله سرطان ، ... می توانند درجه این ارتباط را افزایش یا کاهش دهند. تفاوت بین انواع سوالات در پرسشنامه های مختلف شاید این تفاوت ها را ایجاد کند.نتیجه گیری: در کنار هم ، یک همبستگی متوسطی بین soc و qol وجود دارد و برخی از عوامل دیگر می توانند بر روی هر دو متغیر ما تاثیر بگذارند. soc می تواند مقطعی را تغییر دهد ، بنابراین ، ما باید تحقیقات بیشتری انجام دهیم تا عواملی را که می تواند soc را بهبود بخشد ، پیدا کنیم بیماران سرطانی
