اسرار معرفتیِ «حجاب»

«حجاب» از واجبات ضروری «اسلام» به‌عنوان دینی است که مخاطبش «انسان» است؛ یعنی موجودی که ابعاد و مراتب متعدّد و مترابط و با پیوستگی و هماهنگی بسیار دارد. تامین سعادت و کمال همه‌‌جانبة چنین موجودی، در گرو توجه به همة ابعاد وجودی‌ اوست. به ‌همین ‌جهت، احکام دین خاتَم؛ ازجمله فریضّة حجاب، ابعاد و مراتب مختلفی دارند که همگی آنها باید در مرتبة خود، مورد اهتمام معرفتی، هنجاری و رفتاریِ دین‌مداران قرار بگیرند تا نتایج فردی، اجتماعی و تمدنیِ مد نظر از آنها تحقق یافته یا افزایش یابد و از آسیب‌‌های مرتبط نیز جلوگیری شود. علی‌رغم چنین ضرورت‌های مهمی، به «اسرار معرفتیِ» برخی از احکام مهم؛ ازجمله «حجاب»، اساساً توجه نشده است؛ هرچند آثار کم‌وبیش زیادی دربارة اسرار برخی دیگر از احکام یافت می‌شود. از همین ‌رو، این نوشتار می‌‌کوشد با بررسی متون دینی و تراث معرفتی مرتبط با اسرار معرفتی حجاب، به‌عنوان یک مسئلة اصلی جدید در زمینة حکمت و اسرار عبادات و احکام، و با به‌کارگیری روش توصیفی‌ ‌تحلیلی، افق‌‌هایی در این وادی بگشاید. نتایج این کاوش نشانگر آن است که افزون بر یافته‌های پژوهشی بیان‌شده در خلال نوشتار و جمع‌بندی، ظرفیت‌های این عرصه چنان زیاد است که باید به‌عنوان عرصه‌ای نوین در زمینة اسرار معرفتی نهفته در احکام شریعت مقدس، بدان توجه تفصیلی بسیار بیشتری شود؛‌ به‌ویژه آنکه مقتضیات زمانه، ارائة چنین معرفت‌هایی را اقتضا می‌کند.

the epistemic secrets of ḥijāb

ḥijāb is among the fundamental obligations in islam—a religion whose primary audience is the human being, understood as a multidimensional, interconnected, and harmoniously integrated creature. the holistic attainment of human happiness and perfection depends on attending to all dimensions of the human self. accordingly, the rulings of the last divine religion—including the obligation of ḥijāb—possess multilayered dimensions and ranks. these must be the subject of serious epistemic, normative, and behavioral engagement by religious adherents to actualize or enhance their intended individual, social, and civilizational outcomes while safeguarding against potential harms. despite the importance of this comprehensive approach, the epistemic secrets of certain key religious injunctions—such as ḥijāb—have often been neglected. this is despite the existence of a relatively extensive body of work on the secrets of others. objective: in response to this lacuna, this study seeks to explore the epistemic secrets of ḥijāb as a new central issue in the realm of the wisdom and secrets of islamic obligations and devotional acts. method: utilizing a descriptive-analytical methodology and drawing upon religious texts and the epistemic tradition surrounding the topic, the paper aims to open new vistas in this important field. findings and conclusion: the findings indicate that beyond the analytical insights gathered throughout the paper and its concluding synthesis, the field of epistemic inquiry into islamic rulings holds such vast potential that it should be approached as a new, detailed domain of study within the broader discourse on the epistemic secrets of the sacred sharīʿah. this is particularly pressing given the demands of our present time, which increasingly necessitate the articulation of such deep religious knowledge.
