نقد جامعه شناختی رمان موش ها و آدم ها جان اشتاین بک بر اساس نظریه‌ بازتاب واقعیت جورج لوکاچ

امروزه یکی از حوزه‌های مطالعات بین‌رشته‌ای، جامعه‌شناسی ادبیات است که ساختارهای معنایی رمان یا هر نوع ادبی دیگر را با وضعیت جامعه پیوند می‌زند. با بهره‌گیری از شیوه‌های مختلف بیان نقد اجتماعی، می‌توان به بیان ارزش‌ها، ضدارزش‌ها و معایب موجود در جامعه پرداخت. درواقع، با پیوند نقد جامعه‌شناسی و ادبیات، نویسنده از نابهنجاری‌های جامعه سخن می‌گوید، انتقاد می‌کند؛ یعنی ادبیات به‌عنوان عامل موثر، برخلاف برخی جریان‌های ناعادلانه‌ رایج در جامعه فعالیت کرده و با منافع اشخاص و طبقات خاصی ضدیت پیدا می‌کند گاهی محتوا بر فرم فائق می‌آید که در شکل افراطی آن، چه گفتن مهم‌تر از چگونه گفتن می‌شود. در این زمینه، جان اشتاین‌بک از نویسندگانی است که نگرش و بینش او در آثارش، اجتماعی است. او زندگی و روابط انسان‌های طبقات گوناگون را در جامعۀ شهری مدرن امروزی روایت می‌کند و تصویری واقعی از جامعه وقت خویش ارائه می‌دهند. در پژوهش پیش رو، ما با شیوه‌ توصیفی تحلیلی به واکاوی مولفه‌های جامعه‌شناختی در کتاب موش‌ها و آدم‌ها از جان ‌اشتاین‌بک با رویکرد نظریۀ بازتاب واقعیت اجتماعی لوکاچ خواهیم پرداخت تا بازتاب و بسامد اصلی‌ترین مولفه‌های آن همچون فقر مادی، اختلاف طبقاتی، نابرابری درآمدی، تبعیض‌های جنسیتی، نابرابری‌های مدنی، نژادپرستی را که در این اثر جان ‌اشتاین‌بک پربسامد است، تبیین نماییم.

sociological criticism of john steinbeck's novella of mice and men based on george lukács' theory of reflection of reality

today, one of the fields of interdisciplinary study is the sociology of literature, which links the semantic structures of novels and other literary forms with the state of society. through various methods of expressing social criticism, literature can convey the values, anti values, and disadvantages present in the society. by connecting sociology and literary criticism, authors can highlight and critique societal abnormalities. literature, as an influential force, often operates against unjust currents in society and opposes the interests of specific individuals and classes. at times, the content of a work may take precedence over its form, where what is being said becomes more important than how it is said. in this context, john steinbeck stands out as an author whose works reflect a social perspective. he narrates the lives and relationships of people from various classes in modern urban society, presenting an authentic depiction of his time. in this research, we analyze the sociological components in steinbeck's of mice and men using lukács' theory of the reflection of social reality through a descriptive analytical approach. we also explore the frequency of key themes such as poverty, class differences, income inequality, gender discrimination, civil inequalities, and racism, which are prevalent in steinbeck's work.
