تاثیر استفاده از فیلم آموزشی روش‌های هدایت رفتاری بر رضایت و عملکرد دانشجویان دندانپزشکی

مقدمه: دندانپزشکی اطفال نیازمند به اطلاع از روش‌های هدایت رفتاری است. تکنیک‌‌های هدایت رفتاری معمولا به روش سخنرانی تدریس ‌می‌شود. امروزه روش‌‌های صوتی تصویری به صورت گسترده به کمک آموزش دندانپزشکی آمده است. هدف از انجام این مطالعه مقایسه تاثیر روش سخنرانی و ارایه با روش مبتنی بر فیلم آموزشی در رضایت و عملکرد دانشجویان بود.روش کار: در این مطالعه مداخله ای، دانشجویان سال پنجم به روش تصادفی به 2 گروه a(47 نفر) و  b(48 نفر) تقسیم شدند. به دانشجویان گروه a 30 دقیقه به روش سخنرانی روش‌های هدایت رفتاری کودکان ارایه داده شد. به دانشجویان گروه b همین موضوع از طریق یک فیلم آموزشی 17 دقیقه‌ای آموزش داده شد. بلافاصله پس از آموزش ‌میزان رضایت از روش آموزشی با کمک مقیاس لیکرت 5 تایی تعیین شد. یک ماه پس از تدریس، عملکرد دانشجویان در استفاده از تکنیک‌‌های هدایت رفتاری حین فلورایدتراپی توسط یک دوربین ضبط شد و توسط یک متخصص کودکان براساس چک لیست نمره دهی شد. داده ها با استفاده از آزمون mann-whitney آنالیز شدند.نتایج: میانگین رضایت دانشجویان در گروه a برابر با 3٫7 (انحراف معیار 1٫21) و در گروه b برابر با 4٫31 (انحراف معیار 0٫92) بود. نتایج تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از آزمون من-ویتنی نشان داد که تفاوت معناداری بین رضایت دانشجویان در دو گروه وجود دارد(0/014=p). همچنین، عملکرد دانشجویان که با آزمون من-ویتنی تحلیل شده بود، نشان داد که تفاوت معناداری بین دو گروه وجود دارد. نمره عملکرد برای گروه b برابر با 5٫76 (انحراف معیار 1٫2) و برای گروه a برابر با 4٫8 (انحراف معیار 0٫933) بود( p<0/001  )نتیجه گیری: کاربرد فیلم آموزشی در آموزش هدایت رفتاری کودکان به دانشجویان منجر به رضایت بیشتر دانشجویان از روش تدریس و همچنین بهبود عملکرد آن‌ها طی اعمال دندانپزشکی بر روی اطفال ‌می‌شود.

effect of video-assisted instruction of child behavior management techniques on performance and satisfaction of dental students

introduction: effective teaching is vital for students, especially in professional courses such as dentistry. lectures have been the main educational method at universities. behavioral management techniques in children are still taught in many dental schools, including isfahan, through lectures and presentations. the purpose of this study is to compare the effect of the lecture and presentation method with the educational video-based method on students’ satisfaction and performance.materials methods:  in this interventional study, dentistry students in the fifth year were randomly divided into 2 groups. the students of group a were given a traditional 30-minute lecture on children’s behavioral management methods. group b students were taught the same subject through a 17-minute educational video. immediately after the two groups of students were taught, the level of satisfaction with the educational method was determined using a 5-point likert scale. one month after teaching, students’ performance in using behavioral management techniques during pediatric fluoride therapy was recorded by a camera and scored by a pediatric specialist based on the provided checklist. data were analyzed using the mann-whitney test.results: students’ satisfaction was 3.7±1.21 for group a and 4.31±0.92 for group b. the result of the data analysis using the mann-whitney test showed that there is a significant difference between the students’ satisfaction between the two groups (p=0.014). also, the performance of the students, which was analyzed by the mann-whitney test, showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups. the performance score was 5.76±1.2 for group b and 4.8±0.93 for group a (p<0.001).conclusion: according to the information obtained from the data analysis, the use of educational videos in teaching children’s behavioral management leads to greater satisfaction of students with the teaching method and also improves their performance during dental practices on children.
