خوانش میان رشته ای شیراز و بدرود شیراز بر اساس دیدگاه وستفال

در این پژوهش با بهره‌گیری از رویکرد میان‌رشته‌ای نقد جغرافیایی و به ویژه عناصر سه‌گانه‌ آن از دیدگاه وستفال یعنی چندکانونی، چندحسی و چینه‌نگاری، دو نوع مختلف ادبی یعنی رمان (رمان شیراز از هامبورگر) و خاطره‌نویسی (بدرود شیراز از کدیور) بررسی و تحلیل شده است. بررسی عنصر چندکانونی نشان می‌دهد که شناخت مکان مورد بررسی یعنی شهر شیراز در پرتو دو دید بومی و بیگانه بهتر انجام می‌شود و نگاه تک‌قطبی به مکان در شناخت کامل آن اختلال ایجاد می‌کند. همچنین تحلیل عنصر چندحسی، نشان می‌دهد که با وجود منظره‌های صوتی و بازنمایی مکان با بهره‌گیری از حس بویایی، بازنمایی دیداری در هر دو اثر تسلط دارد گرچه کامل‌ترین نوع بازنمایی با بهره‌گیری از حواس مختلف امکان‌پذیر است. عنصر سوم یعنی چینه‌نگاری نیز که به عنصر زمان در شناخت و بازنمایی درست مکان توجه می‌کند، با نشان دادن چینه‌های زمانی مختلف در شیراز که در هر دو اثر به خوبی بازنمایی شده‌اند، پیوستگی عوامل فرهنگی، تاریخی و محیطی در شکل دادن به شخصیت منحصر به فرد شهر شیراز را نشان می دهد و نمایی پسامدرن به آن می بخشد. همچنین یافته‌های پژوهش نشان‌دهنده‌ صحت بالای بازنمایی یعنی حضور مرجع‌های واقعی در رمان شیراز با وجود تخیلی بودن آن است.

an interdisciplinary reading of shiraz and farewell shiraz applying wes tphal’s theory

the present paper adopts the interdisciplinary approach of geocriticism and especially the triple elements offered by bertrand wes tphal’s theory, i.e. multifocalization, polysensoriality, and s tratigraphic vision, to analyze two different literary genres, a novel (shiraz by robert hamburger) and a memoir (farewell shiraz by cyrus kadivar). the inves tigation of the multifocalization in these works shows that a knowledge ofshiraz, is better acquired through both local and foreign perspectives, while a unipolar view of the place is proved to be an impediment to better unders tanding it. eventhough the mos t complete type of representation is possible by deploying different senses, inves tigating polysensoriality shows that despite the use of soundscapes and the representation of the place through olfactory imagery, the visual representationdominates both works. the third conceptual element is s tratigraphy, which focuses on the element of time in unders tanding and more closely representing the place.through showing the different time s trata in shiraz which are well represented in both works, the continuity of cultural, his torical and environmental factors in shapingthe unique character of shiraz is maintained and gives it a pos tmodern feature. moreover, the findings of the research show that representations are highly accurate due to the presence of real references in the novel and despite its fictional nature.
