سیر تحول ادبیات تطبیقی در دانشگاه‌های جهان عرب

در جریان نهضت ادبی عربی و آغاز تعاملات جهان عرب با اروپا در اوایل قرن نوزدهم میلادی به‌مرور ادبیات تطبیقی به کشورهای عربی راه یافت. از آن زمان تاکنون، ادبیات تطبیقی در جهان عرب با فراز و نشیب‌هایی مواجه بوده و مراحل مختلفی را طی کرده و تلاش‌های زیادی به‌ویژه در دانشگاه‌های کشورهای عربی، به‌عنوان بستر تحول ادبیات تطبیقی، صورت گرفته است. اینکه از ابتدا ادبیات تطبیقی در جهان عرب و از جمله در دانشگاه‌ها چه مراحلی را پشت سر نهاده و چه تحولاتی را به خود دیده، موضوعی است که نیازمند مطالعه و بررسی است و این نوشتار عهده‌دار آن است. به این منظور سیر تحول و مراحل شکل‌گیری و تطور ادبیات تطبیقی در جهان عرب با تمرکز بر دانشگاه‌ها و تالیفات شخصیت‌های دانشگاهی تا پایان قرن بیستم با روش تحلیلی و تاریخی و با مراجعه به منابع و مستندات موجود در این زمینه بررسی شده است. نتیجهٔ این بررسی آن که ادبیات تطبیقی در جهان عرب با وجود اینکه تا پایان قرن بیستم مرحلهٔ تاسیس و ترویج و رشد را طی کرده و شاهد تغییرات چشمگیری بوده، ولی در قیاس با دنیای غرب مرحلهٔ جنینی را طی کرده و تحقیقات محققان جهان عرب با مشکلات و آسیب‌های زیادی رو‌به‌رو‌ست. در نتیجه، به‌طور‌کلی و حتی در مقایسه با سایر علوم ادبی نیز از جایگاهی که باید بر‌خوردار نیست.

the evolution of comparative literature in the universities of the arab world

during the arab literary movement and by the beginning of the arab world’s interactions with europe in the early nineteenth century, comparative literature gradually spread to the arab countries. since then, comparative literature in the arab world has faced ups and downs and has gone through various stages of development, and there have been many efforts in this respect, especially, in arab universities as centres for its development. the emergence, development and different stages the comparative literature has gone through in the arab world are topics that need investigation, and the present paper deals with this history. for this purpose, the paper focuses on universities and the relevant academic researches on this discipline until the end of the twentieth century through a historical analytical lens. the results show that although by the end of the twentieth century comparative literature in the arab world has significantly evolved as a result of its development, growth and dissemination, compared to the western world, it has only put behind its embryonic stage and the research still face many difficulties. therefore, in general and even in comparison with other literary studies, comparative literature has not reached the status it deserves.
