نقد تطبیقی گرایش فکری و ادبی سهراب سپهری و والتر دولامر بر اساس نظریۀ ساز و کارهای دفاعی زیگموند فروید

سهراب سپهری و والتر دولامر در دوره‌ای پرتلاطم‌ از تاریخ کشورشان زندگی می‌کنند. در این شرایط، اکثریت شاعران و نویسندگان، مسائل و مطالبات سیاسی و اجتماعی را دست مایۀ خلق آثار ادبی قرار می‌دهند؛ اما این دو شاعر، نوعی رمانتیسم معتدل را در پیش گرفته‌اند و با پرداختن به تجربیات عاطفی، تمایل چندانی به آن تحولات نشان نمی‌دهند. همین گرایش متمایز سبب می‌شود برخی از منتقدان و شاعران،  آن‌ها را به عدم «تعهد اجتماعی» و «احساس مسئولیت» در برابر هم‌نوعان متهم کنند؛ اما اشعار انسان‌دوستانۀ این دو شاعر، این مدعا را با تردید روبه رو می‌کند. از این رو، ما در این تحقیق تلاش کرده‌ایم چرایی این گرایش را براساس مولفه‌های نظریه‌ای‌ با عنوان «سازوکار دفاعی» بررسی کنیم که با ابعاد این گرایشِ متمایز قابل ‌انطباق است. ما در خلال این گزارش درمی‌یابیم که ظاهراً این ناهم‌سویی با جریان فکری غالب، در اثر نوعی «سازوکار دفاع روانی» باشد که به‌واسطۀ یک فرایند ناخودآگاه در قالب آثار ادبی این دو شاعر بروز کرده است.

a comparative study of intellectual and literary orientations of sohrab sepehri and walter de la mare based on sigmund freud’s theory of defense mechanisms

walter de la mare and sohrab sepehri live in turbulent periods of contemporary histories of their countries. in these circumstances, many of their contemporaries draw on political demands and social issues as inspiration to create literary works. these two, however, follow a kind of mild romanticism and are more concerned with emotional experiences rather than social and political developments. this tendency causes some critics to accuse them of a lack of social commitment and irresponsibility for fellow human beings, but these poets’ humanitarian poems cast doubt on such claims. the main purpose of this paper is to try to probe into the reasons involved in the formation of these poets’ romantic tendencies. to do so, we have deployed freud’s psychological defense mechanisms. the compatibility of the poems with many components of this theory suggests that such divergence from the dominant intellectual trend, could be a subconscious psychological defense mechanism manifested in these poems.
