ارزیابی روش‌شناختی کاربست نظریه فرایند متمدن‌شدن

کاربست نظریه‌ها، به‌ویژه نظریه‌های تاریخیْ پایه پرسشی جدی و قابل‌توجه در جامعه‌شناسی است که از قضا در ایران به‌خوبی به آن پرداخته نشده است. این پژوهش از منظری روش‌شناختیْ اِمکان و ضرورت کاربست نظریه فرایند متمدن‌شدن الیاس در بستر جامعه ایرانی را مورد ارزیابی قرار داده؛ و این ایده را پشتیبانی می‌کند که محققان ایرانی می‌توانند با لحاظ احتیاطات تکنیکی و روشی‌ای که در متن به آن‌ها اشاره شده، مسائل مرتبط با این تئوری در جامعه ایران را موردمطالعه قرار دهند. پیش‌فرض اصلی ما در این مقاله نیاز عرصه سیاست‌گذاری فرهنگی به نگاه تاریخی بوده؛ و به‌همین‌رو، ضمن ‌اینکه این‌نوشتار می‌تواند به ایده‌ای مناسب برای ارزیابی روش‌شناختی کاربست نظریه‌ها منجر شود، درعین‌حال به ما یادآوری نیز خواهد کرد که چگونه نظریه‌هایی می‌توانند برای ارزیابی‌های فرهنگی راهگشا باشند و چگونه این‌نظریه‌ها باید با تاریخ اجتماعی مورد بحث پیوند برقرار کنند. در این‌راستا، پرسشی که این‌پژوهش درصدد پاسخ به آن بوده است، این بود که چگونه می‌توان نظریه‌ای تاریخی مانند نظریه الیاس را در بستر ایران به‌کار گرفت؟

methodological evaluation of the application of the theory of civilizing process

the application of theories, especially historical theories, is the basis of a serious and significant question in sociology, which, ironically, has not been addressed well in iran. from a methodological point of view, this research has evaluated the possibility and necessity of applying the theory of the civilizing process in the context of iranian society; and it supports the idea that iranian researchers can study issues related to this theory in iranian society in terms of the technical and methodological precautions mentioned in the text. our main premise in this research is the need for a historical perspective in the field of cultural policy; and so, while this article can lead to a suitable idea for the methodological evaluation of the application of theories, at the same time it will remind us how theories can open the way for cultural evaluations and how these theories should be linked with the social history in question. in this regard, the question that this study was trying to answer was how to apply a historical theory like the elias theory in the context of iran?
