مروری بر ارتباط کلسیفیکاسیون پالپ دندان و بیماری‌های کلیوی

مقدمه: کلسیفیکاسیون، تجمع نمک‌های کلسیم در بافت‌های نرم است که می‌تواند در پالپ دندان‌ها نیز رخ دهد. با در نظر گرفتن اهمیت تشخیص زودهنگام کلسیفیکاسیون پالپ، مطالعه مروری حاضر به بررسی ارتباط بین کلسیفیکاسیون پالپ دندان و سنگ‌های کلیوی می‌پردازد.روش کار: در مطالعه مروری حاضر، مقالات مربوط به کلسیفیکاسیون پالپ دندان، ارتباط با آن با سایر کلسیفیکاسیون‌ها از پایگاه‌های isi، scopus، pubmed، isc، iran medex، sid و google scholar جستجو شدند. در مجموع 211 مقاله مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند که 66 مقاله با توجه به معیارهای ورود، وارد مطالعه شدند.نتایج: نتایج نشان داد که افرادی که دچار سنگ کلیه هستند، احتمال بیشتری برای ابتلا به سنگ‌های پالپ دارند. مکانیسم‌های پاتوفیزیولوژیک مشترکی که منجر به این دو نوع کلسیفیکاسیون می‌شوند، شامل فرآیندهای مینرالیزاسیون و التهاب مزمن می‌باشند. همچنین، ارتباط بین کلسیفیکاسیون پالپ و سایر بیماری‌های سیستمیک مانند دیابت و بیماری‌های قلبی-عروقی نیز مشاهده شده است. نتیجه‌گیری: تشخیص زودهنگام کلسیفیکاسیون پالپ می‌تواند به شناسایی اختلالات سیستمیک کمک کند. با توجه به مطالعه حاضر، هر چند تحقیقات بیشتر برای تایید قطعی ارتباط بین کلسیفیکاسیون پالپ و سنگ‌های کلیوی نیاز است، با این حال، دندان‌پزشکان بهتر است بیماران مبتلا به کلسیفیکاسیون پالپ دندان را برای ارزیابی بیشتر به پزشکان ارجاع دهند.

a review on the relationship between dental pulp calcification and kidney diseases

introduction: calcification, the accumulation of calcium salts in soft tissues, can also occur in dental pulp. considering the importance of early detection of pulp calcification, this review study examines the relationship between pulp calcification and kidney stones.materials and methods: this review study searched articles related to pulp calcification and its association with other calcifications from isi, scopus, pubmed, isc, iran medex, sid, and google scholar databases. a number of 211 articles were reviewed, and 66 were included based on the inclusion criteria.results: the results showed that individuals with kidney stones have a higher likelihood of developing pulp stones. shared pathophysiological mechanisms leading to these two types of calcification include mineralization processes and chronic inflammation. additionally, a relationship was observed between pulp calcification and other systemic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.conclusion: early detection of pulp calcification can aid in identifying systemic disorders. although further research is needed to confirm the relationship between pulp calcification and kidney stones, dentists should refer patients with pulp calcification to physicians for further evaluation.
