بررسی چیستی نقش پیش‌بینی در آینده‌پژوهی

هدف: این مقاله مشتمل بر دو بخش است: در بخش نخست نشان می‌دهیم که پیش‌بینی در آینده‌پژوهی به چه معناست و چه جایگاهی دارد. در این راستا آراء آینده‌پژوهان مختلف در خصوص نقش پیش‌بینی مورد برسی قرار می‌گیرد و سپس به انواع و اشکال مختلف پیش‌بینی اشاره می‌شود. در بخش بعدی با پرداختن به مدل قیاسی- قانونی همپل و اوپنهایم نشان داده می شود که این مدل منجر به چه نگرش و رهیافتی در آینده‌پژوهی شده است. روش: مقاله حاضر از نوع توصیفی است. داده‌ها به روش کتابخانه‌ای گرداوری شده و با رویکرد تحلیلی بحث و بررسی شده‌اند.یافته‌ها: امروزه آینده‌پژوهی از دوران سلطه تفکر پوزیتویستی (یعنی پیش‌بینی دقیق و کنترل آینده) به سمت پذیرش آینده‌های بالقوه متکثر حاصل از دیدگاه‌ها و جهان‌بینی‌های مختلف حرکت کرده است. اکنون بر همگان روشن است که پیش‌بینی دقیق آینده در عمل امکان‌پذیر نیست. به همین دلیل تاکید آینده‌پژوهی بر کشف طیف وسیعی از آینده‌های بدیل و انتخاب از میان آن‌ها است.نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به یافته‌های پژوهش می‌توان گفت اگر پیش‌بینی دقیق ممکن بود دیگر توانایی شکل بخشی به آینده و دخل و تصرف در آن را نداشتیم. بنابراین آینده برونداد عاملیت، قصد‌مندی و پیامدهای ناخواسته اقدامات انسان‌ها است. در نتیجه آینده‌پژوهی تنها برای پیش‌بینی قطعی نیست بلکه بیشتر برای کنکاش در بدیل‌های آینده و انتخاب از میان آن‌ها است.

a study of the role of prediction in futures studies

purpose: this article consists of two parts. in the first part, we show the mean of prediction and its position in futures studies. in this regard, the opinions of various futurists regarding the role of prediction are examined, and then various types and forms of predicting are mentioned. in the next section, by dealing with hempel and oppenheim's deductive-nomological model, it is shown what attitude and approach this model has led to in futures studies.method: this article is descriptive. the data were collected in a library method and discussed and analyzed analytically.findings: today, futures studies have moved from the era of positivist thinking (that is, accurate prediction and control of the future) to accepting multiple potential futures resulting from different perspectives and worldviews. today, it is clear to everyone that accurate prediction of the future is practically impossible. therefore, futures studies emphasizes discovering a wide range of alternative futures and choosing among them.conclusion: according to the findings of the research, it can be said that if accurate prediction were possible, we would no longer have the ability to shape the future and interfere in it. therefore, the future is the output of action, intentionality, and unintended consequences of human actions. as a result, futures studies is not only for definite prediction, but more for exploring future alternatives and choosing among them.
