چکیده
|
جنس marrubium (lamiaceae) شامل حدود 49 گونه بومی اروپا، آسیا و منطقه مدیترانه است. این جنس در ایران دارای 11 گونه است. برخی از گونه ها در طب سنتی برای درمان بیماری‌های مختلف از جمله آسم، عفونت‌های ریوی، التهاب، دیابت، فشار خون بالا، درد روده، سوء هاضمه و هموروئید استفاده می شود. در مورد ترکیب شیمیایی گونه های ماروبیوم، آنها ترکیبات متنوع زیادی از فلاونوئیدها، پلی فنول ها، استروئیدها، دی ترپنوئیدها و فنیل پروپانوئیدها را تولید می کنند. فعالیت های بیولوژیکی مهمی به دلیل وجود اجزای فیتوشیمیایی مذکور مانند خواص آنتی اکسیدانی، ترمیم زخم، فعالیت ضد میکروبی و سیتوتوکسیک، فعالیت ضد دیابت، فعالیت ضد التهابی، فعالیت ضد تک یاخته ای درمورد گونه های مختلف این گیاه گزارش شده است. در این مقاله مروری برخی از گونه های جنس ماروبیوم از جنبه های مختلف فیتوشیمیایی، پتانسیل های دارویی و ترکیبات شیمیایی بررسی شده است. نتایج توصیف شده در این بررسی، جنس marrubium را به منبع مهمی از مواد بیوفعال ارزشمند در صنعت دارویی تبدیل می‌کند.

A review on the botanical, phytochemical and pharmacological properties of Marrubium medicinal plant

Abstract
|
The genus Marrubium (Lamiaceae) includes about 49 species native to Europe, Asia and the Mediterranean region. This genus has 11 species in Iran. Some species are used in traditional medicine to treat various diseases including asthma, lung infections, inflammation, diabetes, high blood pressure, intestinal pain, indigestion and hemorrhoids. As for the chemical composition of Marrubium species, they produce a large variation of flavonoids, polyphenols, steroids, diterpenoids and phenylpropanoids. Important biological activities are due to the presence of phytochemicals mentioned above, such as antioxidant, wound healing, antimicrobial and cytotoxic activity, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory activity, antiprotozoal activity. In this review article, some species of the genus Marrubium have been investigated from various aspects, phytochemical, medicinal potentials and chemical compounds. The results described in this study, make the genus Marrubium an important source of bioactive substances of medicinal interest.
