چکیدهیکی از طولانی ترین و جامع ترین و پر ابهامترین آیاتی که در قرآن کریم راجع به سحر، آیه 102 سوره بقره می باشد. در این آیه واژه ای آمده است که به مکان اتفاقات مهمی در رابطه با سحر اشاره می نماید. این مکان با توجه به نزول دو فرشته الهی برای ابطال سحر، باید یکی از شاخص ترین مکان ها در وجود سحر و جادوگری بوده باشد، بنابراین، مقاله حاضر ابتدا حقیقت سحر و میزان تاثیر و نفوذ آن را بر روی افراد در بابل به کمک علم باستان شناسی، بررسی می کند و سپس با بررسی ویژگی جغرافیایی این منطقه به بیان رابطه بین سحر و موقعیت مکانی و جغرافیایی بابل در قرآن می پردازد. در پایان به این نتیجه می رسد که هرچند بسترهای لازم تا حدودی در این سرزمین وجود داشته اما این، تمام علت در شیوع سحر و جادو در این سرزمین نبوده است و علت واقعی، جهالت مردمی بوده که همواره با ویرانی بابل دوباره بت مردوک را که نمادی برای ابطال سحر بوده در این سرزمین می پرستیده اند .اما گویی سایه وحشتناک این مکان تا حدی زیاد بوده که حضرت علی علیه السلام وقتی به این مکان وارد می شود حاضر به خواندن نماز نمی گردد و همه را توصیه به خروج از این مکان می کند و باز به همین علت است که پایان بابل شنیدنی است و تا وقتی این سرزمین جابجا نمی شود آفات بابل از بین نمی رود . .

It is a symbol of canceling dawn and was worshiped in this land. But it is as if the terrible shadow of this place was so great that when Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) entered this place, he refused to pray and advised everyone to leave this place. and it is for this reason that the end of Babylon can be heard and the plagues of Babylon will not disappear until this land is moved..
