مروری کوتاه بر استفاده از آنتی‌بیوتیک‌ها در پرورش جوجه‌های گوشتی و اهمیت آن برای انسان

داروهای دامپزشکی به ویژه آنتی‌بیوتیک‌ها از مهم‌ترین اجزای مرتبط با تولید خوراک دام هستند. به طور کلی کاربرد اصلی آنتی‌بیوتیک‌ها در حیوانات برای درمان و پیشگیری از بیماری‌ها و افزایش رشد است. استفاده از آنتی‌بیوتیک در حیوانات ممکن است سبب ابقای آنتی‌بیوتیک در فرآورده‌های دام و طیور و بروز عوارض جانبی مختلفی مانند انتقال باکتری‌های مقاوم به آنتی‌بیوتیک به انسان، اثرات ایمونوپاتولوژیک، آلرژی، جهش‌زایی، نفروپاتی (جنتامایسین)، سمیت کبدی، اختلالات تولید مثلی، مسمومیت مغز استخوان (کلرامفنیکل) و حتی سرطان‌زایی (سولفامتازین، اکسی‌تتراسایکلین و فورازولیدن) ایجاد کنند. به دلیل این اثرات نامطلوب، استفاده مناسب از آنتی‌بیوتیک‌ها در مواد غذایی با منشاء دامی بسیار مهم است. افراد باید از طریق آموزش توسط مسئولین از مشکلات آگاه شوند. در این مقاله مروری به فواید استفاده از آنتی‌بیوتیک در تغذیه‌ جوجه‌های گوشتی و اهمیت آن در سلامت انسان پرداخته می‌شود

A short review on the use of antibiotics in broiler and its importance for humans

Veterinary medicines, especially antibiotics, are among the most important components related to animal feed production. Generally, the main use of antibiotics in animals is for the treatment and prevention of diseases and growth promotion. Antibiotic usage in animals may result antibiotic residues in foodstuffs such as milk, egg and meat. These residues may cause various side effects such as transfer of antibiotic resistant bacteria to humans, immunopathological effects, allergy, mutagenicity, nephropathy (gentamicin), hepatotoxicity, reproductive disorders, bone marrow toxicity (chloramphenicol) and even carcinogenicity (sulphamethazine, oxytetracycline, furazolidone). The most important adverse effect of antibiotic residues is the transfer or antibiotic resistant bacteria to the humans. Because of these undesirable effects, it is very important to regulate the use of antibiotics in food animals. The individuals should be aware of the problem through education by authorities. In this review article, the benefits of using antibiotics in broilers and its effects on human health will be discussed.
