عوامل موثر در غافل‌گیری عراق در عملیات والفجر 8

نتیجه عملیات والفجر 8 تغییر موازنه جنگ به نفع ایران بود. علت اصلی موفقیت در این عملیات، غافل‌گیری ارتش عراق در منطقه فاو بود. سوالات این تحقیق عبارتند از: چه عواملی در غافل‌گیری ارتش عراق موثر بوده‌اند؟ و یا این که ارتش عراق در چه ابعادی غافل‌گیر شد؟ و میزان این غافل‌گیری در چه حدی بوده است؟ و آخر این که غافل‌گیری ارتش عراق در پیروزی عملیات والفجر 8 به چه میزانی موثر بوده است؟ روش این تحقیق، توصیفی - تحلیلی بوده و از طریق بررسی کتب و اسناد و مدارک و فیش‌برداری از آنها، مصاحبه و پرسشنامه، اطلاعات مورد نیاز جمع آوری گردید. نتایج حاصله تحقیق:حفاظت اطلاعات، عملیات فریب به ویژه در منطقه هورالهویزه، انجام عملیات‌های پشتیبانی به خصوص در منطقه‌ ام‌الرصاص، تاکتیک‌های عبور از رودخانه، خط شکنی و سرعت عمل در اجرای مراحل عملیات و شرایط جوی در شب عملیات از عوامل موثر در غافل‌گیری عراق در عملیات والفجر 8 بودند و در این رابطه زمان عملیات نیز تا حدودی به این امر کمک نمود. ارتش عراق در عملیات والفجر 8 در ابعاد استراتژیکی و عملیاتی به طور کامل و در بعد تاکتیکی نیز تا حدود زیادی غافل‌گیر شد. میزان غافل‌گیری ارتش عراق در این عملیات نیز بسیار بالا بوده است، به طوری که مهم‌ترین و اصلی‌ترین عامل در پیروزی عملیات محسوب می‌شود. میزان تاثیر غافل‌گیری ارتش عراق، به حدی بود که اگر عراق با تمام توانایی‌هایش در این عملیات غافل‌گیر نمی‌شد، پیروزی ایران در این عملیات امکانپذیر نبود.
