روایت شناسی دیداری: روایتگری در تصاویر ایستا (نقاشی) از منظر تاریخ هنر و روایت شناسی

تمایز رسانۀ زبانی و بصری، پارادایمی است که نخستین بار توسط لسینگ در تاریخ هنر مطرح شد. ماهیت زمان بنیاد شعر در بیان متوالی رویدادها و ماهیت مکان بنیاد نقاشی در توصیف هم زمان پدیده ها، هنوز موجب اختلاف نظر روایت شناسان زبانی و مورخین هنر در داستان  تصاویر منفرد است. این پژوهش به روشی توصیفی-  تحلیلی و گردآوری داده های اسنادی، با هدف بررسی شیوه های بازنمایی زمان روایی در تصاویر منفرد (نقاشی)، سعی دارد به این دو پرسش پاسخ دهد: آیا تصاویر فقط لحظه ای واحد از یک رویداد را باز می نمایانند؟ آیا در مقایسه با داستان  زبانی، داستان  بصری فاقد معیارهای اصلی روایت است؟ در نتیجه پژوهش حاضر با تمرکز بر عناصر سازندۀ روایت و تطبیق معیارهای اصلی تعریف روایت در رسانۀ زبانی و دیداری بروی یک نمونۀ مطالعاتی، ثانیاً با طرح نظریه های ادراکی درباب زمان و حرکت در تصاویر منفرد، و با تاکید بر استقلال زبان بصری و نقش بیننده در فرآیند ادراکی، نشان می دهد میان معیارهای اصلی تعریف روایت به ویژه عنصر «زمان» در روایت زبانی و روایت دیداری تفاوت معناداری وجود ندارد. بنابراین آثار تصویری بنابر ماهیت خود، مقولۀ زمان روایی رویداد را به طریقی متفاوت با فرآورده های زبانی بازنمایی می کنند.

linguis tic and visual media differentiation is a paradigm firs t introduced by lessing in art his tory. the time-based nature of poetry in the sequence of events and the place-based nature of painting in the simultaneous description of phenomena, s till cause disagreement among linguis tic narratologis ts and art his torians in the narration of single images. this research tries to answer these two ques tions in a descriptive-analytical way and collecting documentary data, with the aim of examining the methods of representing the narrative time in single images (paintings): do images represent only a single moment of an event? compared to linguis tic s torytelling, does visual s torytelling lack the basic criteria of narrative? as a result of the present s tudy, focusing on the cons tituent elements of narrative and applying the main criteria for defining narrative in linguis tic and visual media on a s tudy sample, secondly by proposing perceptual theories about time and motion in individual images, and emphasizing visual language independence and viewer role in the perceptual process, it shows that there is no significant difference between the main criteria for defining narrative, especially the element of “time” in linguis tic narrative and visual narrative. thus, visual works, by their very nature, represent the category of event narrative time in a different way from linguis tic products.
