زمینه و هدف: ابعاد اقتصادی حقوق عمومی از موضوعات مهم تاثیرگذار بر توسعه است که در این مقاله تلاش شده تاثیر آن بر جامعه بررسی شود.مواد و روش‌ها: مقاله توصیفی تحلیلی بوده و از روش کتابخانه‌ای استفاده‌شده است.ملاحظات اخلاقی: در این مقاله، اصالت متون، صداقت و امانت‌داری رعایت شده است.یافته‌ها: حقوق عمومی و توسعه آن از منظر اقتصادی بر جامعه بسیار تاثیرگذار است. ابعاد اقتصادی حقوق عمومی اعم از حمایت از نهاد مالکیت، تقویت آزادی‌های اقتصادی و تضمین تناسب و برابری در برنامه توسعه بر توسعه حقوق عمومی، و به دنبال آن توسعه جامعه تاثیرگذار است. زمانی که اصل مالکیت شخصی موردحمایت است. آزادی تجارت و بازار آزاد در راستای رعایت حقوق افراد حکمرفا شود و دخالت‌های دولت تا حد زیادی محدود گردد؛ حقوق رقابت و برابری در کسب‌وکار پذیرفته شود، ابعاد اقتصادی حقوق عمومی توسعه‌یافته و این امر تاثیرات مثبتی بر توسعه جامعه دارد.نتیجه‌: تاثیر اقتصادی حقوق عمومی از موضوعات مهمی است که لازم است در فرایند توسعه جامعه مدنظر قرار گیرد. توسعه جامعه بدون توسعه حقوق عمومی اقتصادی امکان‌پذیر نیست. برای توسعه ابتدا باید بسترهای توسعه حقوق عمومی اقتصادی نظیر حقوق رقابت، تجارت آزاد و عدم‌مداخله دولت و حمایت کامل از اصولی چون اصل مالکیت را فراهم کرد.
