چکیده    In this paper, the quantum dot is considered as a two-dimensional disk with negligible thickness and hard walls. related schrodinger equation has been solved by using the polar coordinate. the propose is to find the energy eigenvalues and wave functions of carrier in hard wall quantum dot. also, the behavior of these parameters versus radius of dot has been studied. the numerical results are presented that the energy levels of quantum dot decreases with enhancement of dot radius.
