contemporary islamic thought currencies in the sub-saharan africa.

Unlike islam in north africa, which is considered to be directly linked to the alleged center of the muslim world, that is, the arab middle east, islam in sub-sahara africa has been given of less importance despite the region of being great importance to the islamic world. it should be noted that difference currencies have occurred in this area which need to be studied in details in order to the understand kind of islam to be found in the religion. although it is believed that the type of islam in africa is different from other parts of the world, it remains one of the important topics to carried out in the study of currencies. historically we had two kinds of currencies-that is to say- the traditional which included the sufi and the mixed traditional with islam, and the reformist which includes a lot of reformists organization as it will be discussed. the aim of this study is to find out the major contemporary scholars in the sub-sahara africa which have influenced the islam and to classify which category of currencies are ascribed too.the qualitative research methodology was used to analyses the literature review which was studied by reading articles and books about islam in sub-saharan african.
