the role of afghan religious scholars in political and social developments of afghanistan in the last century

Afghanistan has been one of the most important countries in the political, social, economic, cultural and military conflict of neighboring countries, the region and the world throughout its political and social life. given this issue, afghan religious scholars have always fought against domestic tyranny and the british colonial government, as well as the soviet occupation, which can be said to have had a direct impact on the country s independence. hence, considering the purposeful role of afghan religious scholars who have been directly involved in the most important events of the last century, such as the country s independence, jihad against foreigners, organizing intellectual forces and the formation of the islamic state, in the present study the role of afghan religious scholars has been studied and analyzed in the socio-political developments of afghanistan in the last century. #thus, the religious scholars of afghanistan, given the problems of the age of modernism on the one hand, and the many problems caused by the occupation of the country by the british colonial government and the soviet union, such as poverty and instability, cultural invasion and as well as lack of country independence, were not unaware of the importance of national cohesion and convergence. and they did their best for the independence and freedom of the country based on preserving and defending the religious values of the muslim nation of afghanistan, as well as removing the challenges and obstacles to the formation of an islamic government. #furthermore, they also play an influential role in the government of the islamic republic, always emphasizing the fight against ethnic prejudices, administrative corruption, identifying obstacles to peace and national unity, resolving political disputes, and preserving islamic values. however, their roles in strengthening unity and eliminating the causes of crisis and insecurity, especially the fight against injustice and ethnic prejudices, is significant and undeniable. #
