بررسی نگرش مستشرقان نسبت به نقاشی دوره‌ی قاجار

دوره‌ی قاجار از دوره‌های خلاقیت و تکامل شیوه‌های هنری ایران است. در این دوره رابطه‌ی ظریف بین تجربه‌های هنری پیشین و تخیل و تجارب هنری جدید برقرار شده و حاصل آن در آثاری جلوه یافت که در این دوره در بیشتر عرصه‌های هنری ظهور یافته است. تحولاتی همچون دگرگونی ماهیت سیاسی، ظهور طبقه‌ی روشنفکر، آغاز دولت مشروطه، تغییر روابط ایران و جهان منجر به تحول در اندیشه و هنر ایرانیان گردید که در نتیجه‌ی آن دوره‌ی قاجار را به یکی از درخشان‌ترین دوره‌های تاریخی قابل مطالعه و پژوهش قرار داده است. حال نکته‌ای قابل توجه این است که کم‌توجهی به آثار نقاشی دوره‌ی قاجار در آثار مستشرقان به طور مشهودی احساس می‌شود و متاسفانه بسیاری از مستشرقان نقطه‌ی زوال هنر ایران را انتهای دوره‌ی صفویه می‌دانند و در بیشتر مطالعات انجام شده، چیزی جز تحلیل نامناسب و مغرضانه و همچنین معرفی مختصری از زندگی هنرمندان دوره قاجار و تکنیک‌های هنری آنان وجود ندارد. در حقیقت ارزش‌های گوناگون هنر دوره‌ی قاجار در اغلب موارد از چشم مورخان و شرق‌شناسان دور مانده و تا دوره‌ی اخیر به آن توجه چندانی نشده است. در همین راستا، این پژوهش کوشیده است تا با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و با اتکا به آثار مستشرقان در پی پاسخ‌گویی به این سئوال مهم باشد: محققین غربی نسبت به نقاشی قاجار چه دیدگاهی دارند؟

A study of Orientalists' attitudes toward Qajar painting

The Qajar period is one of the periods of creativity and evolution of Iranian artistic methods. During this period, a delicate relationship was established between previous artistic experiences and new artistic imagination and experiences, and the result was reflected in the works that have appeared in most fields of art during this period. Developments such as the change of political nature, the emergence of the intellectual class, the beginning of the constitutional government, the change of relations between Iran and the world led to a change in Iranian thought and art, which has made the Qajar period one of the most brilliant historical periods to be studied and researched. It is noteworthy that little attention is paid to the paintings of the Qajar period in the works of Orientalists, and unfortunately many Orientalists consider the decline of Iranian art to be the end of the Safavid period, and in most studies, nothing but inappropriate and biased analysis and also There is no brief introduction to the life of Qajar artists and their artistic techniques. In fact, the various values ??of the Qajar period art have often been overlooked by historians and orientalists and have not received much attention until recently. In this regard, this study has tried to answer this important question with a descriptive-analytical method and relying on the works of Orientalists: What is the view of Western scholars towards Qajar painting?
