investigation of the effect of job satisfaction and cyberloafing on organizational alienation

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of job satisfaction and cyberloafing behaviour on organizational alienation. as a quantitative research method, relational survey model was used for the research. the research group of the study was determined using the purposeful sampling method. the study group of the research, who has been working in sports organizations affiliated to the ministry of youth and sports in the aegean region for at least 1 year, aged between 21 and 50, who voluntarily agree to participate in the research, 91 (47.90%) physical education expert, 43 (22.60%) experts and 56 (29.50%) sports training experts a total of 190 staff. in order to obtain the data for the research; in order to obtain the data for the research; the cyberloafing scale developed by örücü and yıldız (2014), the job satisfaction scale developed by spector (1985) and adapted into turkish by yelboğa (2009) and mottaz’s (1981) organizational alienation scale adapted in to turkish by uysaler (2010) as well as the personal information form prepared by the authors was used. descriptive statistical methods, correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to analyze of data. as a result of the research, it was concluded that job satisfaction has a negative effect on organizational alienation, while cyber loafing has a positive significant effect on organizational alienation. as a result of these results, it’s recomended that the managers will reduce the organizational alienation behaviors of their employees, if they should make some applications about increasing job satisfaction and decreasing the cyber loafing behaviors of employees
