چکیده

The aim of this study is to determine the effects of foam roller (fr), dynamic stretching (ds) and passive recovery (pr) on vertical jump (vj) and range of motion (rom) after sub-maximal exercise. twelve congenital (sensorineural) hearing impaired (>91db) basketball players between the ages of 18-30 participated in the study voluntarily. subjects were randomly divided into 3 groups consisting of 4 athletes in equal numbers and 3 different recovery methods after submaximal running exercise were performed in a cross-over design. vj and rom of the participants were measured 3 times before the exercise, after the running exercise and after the recovery exercise. data were analyzed with the repeated measure two way anova (3 group x 2 times) test. ds and fr exercises of the right leg in rom significantly increased after recovery compared to pt (p<0.05). there was a significant increase in rom in the left leg compared to pr after fr exercise recovery (p<0.05). there was no significant difference between recovery methods in vj. as a result, fr and dg recovery methods showed a greater increase in rom after exercise compared to pt. however, no difference was found between fr and dg. in ds, the findings were similar between recovery methods. trainers or athletes may be offered fr and dg exercises to improve rom after training or competition.
