depth of factor rings of c(x)

In [f. azarpanah, a.a. hesari, a.r. salehi, computation of depth in c(x), j.algebra 550 (2020) 54-68.] the authors showed that depth(c(x)=(f)) is less than or equal to 1, for every principalideal (f) in c(x); although, they were unable to prove this fact in general for an arbitrary idealof c(x). in this article, we show that the depth of every factor ring of c(x) modulo an ideal idoes not exceed 1.
