چکیده    In the 21st century, water polluted by heavy metals is one of the main environmental problems. various methods for removing heavy metal ions from water have been studied. biotechnology is a science that has come to our aid using green chemistry. in this article, we investigate the removal of the toxic element tungsten from textile effluents by iron oxide nanoparticles. these nanoparticles are synthesized by bacteria. they are able to produce metal nanoparticles andnano structure via reducing enzyme intracellularly or extracellularly. iron oxide nanoparticles are one of the known adsorbents used to remove toxic elements. the effect of ph, kinetics and isotherm parameters on tungsten element removal was investigated. the results showed that in 50 ml of tungsten salt solution with a concentration of 100 ppb and an amount of 0.01 of fe3o4 nanoparticles, maximum tungsten adsorption occurs within 90 minutes at ph = 9. under the mentioned optimal conditions, %70 of the toxic element tungsten was removed.
