Haraz Road (Iran) Geotrail

Mountains and plains on the road side have been interesting to people since a long time ago; therefore, people have enjoyed these attractions during the route to the unpredictable destination. nowadays, however, considering the fascinating phenomena of geomorphology and geology is one of the travel attractions. road-side geotourism has drawn the attention of enthusiasts, experts and researchers, and looking these spectacular landscapes in crossing over the road direction or getting off the vehicle and closely feeling these divine attractions are considered as tourism activities. haraz road (road 77) is one of the most beautiful and historic roads in the world, which connects the iranian capital, tehran, to mazandaran. the geotourism attractions of this unique geotrail have been mentioned in this research, which was conducted through a documentary and field study.
