Abstract
|
One of the most important points in Omar Khayyam Neishaburi is hisrelation to Avicenna, the great philosopher of Islamic Philosophy. Thismatter is very merit, because if it proved, it could be an important criterionfor evaluate some poems which are appointee to Khayyam.One of the most important reasons to prove this, is the translation of treatiseof Towhid )توحیدیه خطبه )by Khayyam from Arabic to Persian. At thebeginning of this theme Khayyam says: Some of Isfahanin friends wantedme to translate this to Persian, and I did. In part of this translation Khayyammention to Avicenna to the great address.Khayyam has also another theme under the heading Fi al-Kawn va alTaklif(التکلیف و الکون فی رساله (which is about some important philosophicalproblems. Philosophical subjects have been proposed in Avicenna style inthis theme and Khayyam mentions Avicenna as my teacher in one of itsparagraphs which is another reason for his devote and respect to Avicenna
