خیام هندوستان هری ونش راوبچن

هری ونش از فلاسفه و شاعران به نام زبان هندی است که از رباعیات خیام تاثیر پذیرفته است. مدهو شالا هری ونش به زبانهای بنگالی و انگلیس ترجمه شده است اما در هیچ بخشی از مطالعات خیام شناسی در ایران به دلیل عدم آشنایی ایرانیان به زبانهای هندی و اردو ذکری به میان نیامده است . این تحقیق به تفضیل به تاثیر این شاعر پر آوازه هندوی هندوستانی که برای اولین بار همچو حافظ به قول استاد جلال همایی کلمات را از ته چاه به اوج ماه رساند می‏پردازد.

Indian Khayyam Harri Vanesh Rai Bachchan

Harivansh Rai Bachchan was an Indian poet of the Nayi Kavita literary movement (romantic upsurge) of early 20th century Hindi literature. He is best known for his early work Madhushala (मधुशाला) (Hindi: मधुशाला) (The Tavern/The House of Wine) is a book of 135 verses of four lines (Ruba'i) by Hindi poet and writer Harivansh Rai Bachchan (1907–2003). The highly metaphorical work is still celebrated for its deeply Sufi incantations and philosophical undertones and is an important work in the Chhayavaad (Neo-romanticism) literary movement of early 20th century Hindi literature. All the rubaaiaa (the plural for rubaai) end in the word madhushala. The poet tries to explain the complexity of life with his four instruments which appear in almost every verse: madhu, madira or haala (wine), saaki (server), pyaala (cup or glass) and of course madhushala, madiralaya (pub/bar) Madhushala was part of his trilogy inspired by Omar Khayyam's Rubaiyat, which he had earlier translated into Hindi Hari Vansh described himself as Khayyam of India and introduced himself as such. This study analyzes the influence of this famous Indian poet on Rubaiyat of Khayyam.
