This comparison scheme not only aims atintroducing the two books, Libro de Buen Amor and Rubaiyat, in moredetails but also presents the 14th century in Spain and the 12th century inIran to the Spanish and Iranian communities. The major attribute of thesebooks is the satirical social and political viewpoint of the two poets. Thiscomparing analysis assesses the political, social and cultural critics of thetwo poets based on a ludic method. Juan Ruiz and Jayyam Neyshaburi neveroverlooked ignorance, unculturedness and hypocrisy of their time-beingmonarchs in their great works and therefore, tried to enlighten thecommunities by their informative writings.
