اقبال حکیم عمر خیام در سرزمین ایتالیک‌ها

در این مقاله ، با روشی مقایسه ای به تحلیل اولین ترجمه های رباعیات خیام به زبان ایتالیایی پرداخته ایم. این ترجمه ها از روی نسخه انگلیسی رباعیات خیام انجام شده اند و بیشتر ترجمه فیتزجرالد مدنظر مترجمان بوده است. در این مقاله خواهیم دید که چگونه کمبود دانش مترجمان ایتالیایی در مورد معانی پیچیده رباعیات ، مشکلات زیادی را در انتقال صحیح مفاهیم به خوانندگان ایتالیایی در پی داشته است. در پایان ، ما به نسخه ایتالیایی از رباعیات خیام –که به نظر بهترین ترجمه از رباعیات خیام به این زبان است- می پردازیم.

Omar Khayyam’s presence in Italy

In this essay, with a comparative method we try to analyze the first translations that Khayyam's poems had in Italy. It is interesting to know that all these translations were carried out on the English versions of the poems and the translation most used by Italian translators as a source on which to do translation works is that carried out by Edward Fitzgerald. In this essay we will see how the lack of knowledge of Italian translators regarding the complex meanings of the quatrains have created many difficulties in transmitting correctly to the italian readers some poetic concepts of Khayyam directly connected to suche a complicated poetic concepts as Sufism and mysticism. Then the best Italian translations are presented based on the original Persian manuscripts that are considered written by the poet himself, although there some doubts about the authentic originality of the source which are used. At the end, we focuse on a italian versione of Khayyam’s quatrains that seems to be the best specimen which was done : the italian version of poems done by an afghan translator and directly from persian into italian.
