|
The present study is an attempt to prepare nickel-boron / graphene oxide nanocomposite using electroplating method. the watt bath was improved, prepared for a simple nickel-boron coating .then graphene oxide nanoparticles were added to the bath. prior to the plating operation, the bath was stirred for the required time with an ultrasonic dispenser so that the nanoparticles were completely dispersed in the bath. copper sheet is used as a substrate. a cleaning operation was performed on copper sheet. after coating preparation, surface morphological properties were determined by scanning electron microscope , energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy(edx) . wear properties were determined by pin on disk test. the results showed that the properties were improved by adding a small amount of graphene oxide particles to the plating bath.
