|
Inthisstudy,inordertoinvestigatethepickingmechanismofprojectileandrapieranditseffectsonthephysicalandcolorpropertiesofpolyesterwovenfabric,thefirst130denier-1600tpmityyarnwaspreparedandusedaswarpandweftyarn.also,twodifferentmachinesequippedwithprojectileandrapierpickingsystemswiththesameparameters(warpandweftdensity,machinewidth,andmachinespeed)wereusedtoweavethesamples.lightnessfactor,dyeingefficiency,thefabrictenacityinwarpandweftdirections,andfabricweightmeasured.theexperimentalresultsreportedaccordingtochart1,2and3forbothrawandfinishedsamples.theresultsshowedthatthepickingmechanismhadnosignificanteffectonthephysicalandchemicalpropertiesofthepreparedfabricsandalsoafterfinishinganddyeingprocesses,theeffectwasnotevident.alsointermsofcolor,hand,comfort,andetc.,nosignificantdifferenceshavebeenfoundamongthesamples.theimagesoftwowovensamplesafterthedyeingandfinishingoperationareshowninfigure1

Abstract
|
