Nowadays, the production and use of materials with nanometer dimensions have attracted much attention along the way. there are many physical and chemical methods for synthesizing nanomaterials, but there is an urgent need for green nanotechnology due to environmental problems. using plant extracts as a sustainable and available source for the production of biocompatible nanoparticles has received much attention. the advantages of this method are cheapness, non-toxicity and production of high purity of nanoparticles. silver nanoparticles are essential materials with a wide range of applications due to their biological, electrical and optical properties and intense antibacterial activity. aloe vera is also a low-cost and eco-friendly plant with reducing and stabilizing properties. in this study, silver nanoparticles were prepared using the green synthesis method from aloe vera plant extract. transmission electron microscopy (tem) evaluated the size and morphology of green synthesized nanoparticles from aloe vera plant extract were evaluated by transmission electron microscopy (tem). ultraviolet further confirmed the formation of silver nanoparticles and visible spectroscopy (uv-visible), measured at different reaction times (0.5, 1, 2, 3, and 4 h, respectively). tem result showed that silver nanoparticles were observed as spherical particles with the size of 60nm. uv-vis spectra indicated that after 30 min the formation of silver nanoparticles occurred. the maximum absorption was found at 430nm and represented the surface plasmon resonance (spr) characteristics of spherical and aggregate silver nanoparticles
