چکیده    In this research work, uv-curable epoxy acrylate coating was synthesized. then epoxy acrylate- montmorillonite nanocomposite coatings were provided in 0.1, 1 and 5 weight percentages. this nanocomposites were tested on (304) steel. ft-ir and hnmr spectra were used to characterization of epoxy acrylate coating. the morphology of coatings were characterized through sem image. to evaluate the anti-corrosion performances of coatings, samples were immersed in (3/5 %) nacl for 30 days. results were evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. the study indicated that montmorillonite nanoparticles increase the corrosive agents pathway to layer and hydrophobic property of coating resulting in higher corrosion resistance. nanocomposite epoxy acrylate containing (1%) montmorillonite showed the best performance in terms of anti-corrosion resistance due to good coverage and uniform distribution of nanoparticles on the surface of the coating. as a result, this nanocomposite coating can be considered as an optimal coating with high corrosion resistance.
