چکیده
|
Methylene blue widely used as a dye, drug chemical indicator and biological stain. however, unbridled emissions of methylene blue into surface and underground water will harm human beings and other creatures because of its toxicity to neural tissue, reproductive system, and skin. therefore, the removal of methylene blue from waste water is important for human health and environmental. the aim of this study was to decolorize waste water containing methylene blue with improved hydrogels with polyurethane cross linker and chitosan nanoparticles. for this purpose, in the first step, urethane acrylate was synthesized with isophorone diisocyanate and diol in the presence of a catalyst and used as a cross-linking agent in the synthesis of hydrogels based on acrylamide and acrylic acid. then the structure of the synthesized materials was examined and confirmed by infrared spectroscopy. the results showed that the water absorption property of the irradiated polyurethane-reinforced hydrogel increased to 8.5 steps. the nanocomposite hydrogel was then homogenized with 0.1% chitosan using ultrasound and a magnetic stirrer and cured by uv irradiation. then, the removal of methylene blue dye in waste water with nanocomposite hydrogel was investigated and showed a removal of 58.6% in 180 minute.
