چکیده    Sublimation inkjet printing known as one of the best methods for printing on the polyester fabrics, is usually performed via two different ways: direct and transfer printing [1,2].the aim of this study is to achieve black ink by using several disperse dyes including disperse red 60, disperse blue 359, disperse brown 26, disperse orange 25, disperse blue 360 and disperse brown 27. all of these dyes were analyzed by uv-visible spectroscopy. the best samples were selected according to three important factors, i.e. high adsorption ability of dyes (low transmission in the visible area), high economic efficiency and good sublimation energy. in this regard, blue 360, orange 25, and brown 27 were selected as optimum dyes and twelve transparent solutions were prepared randomly. the reflection of the samples was examined by valvit method and beer-lambert law. the optimum content of dyes for preparing inks in the binary mixtures was obtained. black inks were prepared according to table 1[3]. which shows appropriate ratio of dyes in order to obtain optimum black ink. physical properties of inks such as surface tension (32-33 mn/m) and viscosity (9-10 mpa.s) were adjusted. finally, printed samples were obtained by an epson t10 inkjet printer on transfer paper and then sublimated to polyester textile at temperature of 220 ˚c for 60 s. the color properties of transferred prints are reported in the table 2. colorimetric characteristics confirmed that the sample containing a mixture of disperse orange 25 and blue 360 (sam1) can be considered as the optimum sample.

Abstract    Sublimation inkjet printing known as one of the best methods for printing on the polyester fabrics, is usually performed via two different ways: direct and transfer printing [1,2].The aim of this study is to achieve black ink by using several disperse dyes including disperse red 60, disperse blue 359, disperse brown 26, disperse orange 25, disperse blue 360 and disperse brown 27.
