چکیده    The epoxy zinc phosphate (zp) is one of the most conventional anti-corrosion primers for direct application on the metal substrate in multi-layer coating systems. due to the presence of zinc phosphate pigment the coating behaves slightly active corrosion protection behavior that causes the corrosion control even in the case of coating damage. however, due to the poor zp solubility in water media achieving high active-anticorrosion properties for a long time of exposure is still the main challenge of application of this kind of coating for decades. in this study, a novel active/barrier epoxy zinc phosphate primer was filled with a novel feldspar/polyaniline (zp/fel@pani) anti-corrosive filler to achieve long-term active/barrier properties. for this purpose, the electrochemical polymerization method was employed to construct conductive feldspar/polyaniline (fel@pani) particles in the acidic medium. fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ft-ir), and field emission scanning electron microscopy (fe-sem) techniques were used to characterize fel@pani powder. successful polymerization of polyaniline nanofibers on the feldspar particles was demonstrated. electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (eis), and salt spray test (sst) outcomes showed excellent barrier effect (after 99 days exposure to the 3.5 wt.% nacl solutions) and active protection behavior of the prepared coating (after 50 days exposure to the sst chamber) just by replacement of 2 wt.% of zinc phosphate powder with fel@pani pigment.

Abstract    The epoxy zinc phosphate (ZP) is one of the most conventional anti-corrosion primers for direct application on the metal substrate in multi-layer coating systems.
