چکیده    Homogeneous and well crystallized spherical ceria has been synthesized with pvp-assisted hydrothermal procedure. the synthesized ceria crystalline phased characterized by x-ray diffraction analysis, the chemical bonding by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ftir) analysis and the morphology and particle size by field emission scanning electron microscope (fesem), and confirmed that ceo2 spherical particle were formed. in our process ce(no3)3.6h2o was hydrolyzed with assistance of pvp. the pvp concentration controlled the particle size and its distribution. spherical ceo2 submicron particles were successfully synthesized, it’s structure was concluded single phase, the cubic fluorite structure from results by xrd. morphology and size distribution of synthesized particles were relatively spherical and uniform.

Abstract    Homogeneous and well crystallized spherical ceria has been synthesized with PVP-assisted hydrothermal procedure. In our process Ce(NO3)3.6H2O was hydrolyzed with assistance of PVP. Morphology and size distribution of synthesized particles were relatively spherical and uniform.
