تاملی در نسبت حکمت معنوی با معماری و شهرسازی؛ ضرورت بازتعریف جایگاه حکمت در خلق فضاهای معنادار: مقایسه تطبیقی بافت سنتی و بافت جدید شهر یزد

هدف این پژوهش، واکاوی نسبت حکمت معنوی با معماری و شهرسازی و تبیین امکان احیای فضاهای معنادار در بستر طراحی معاصر است. در این راستا، مقاله با رویکردی میان‌رشته‌ای و بهره‌گیری از روش تحلیل مفهومی و تفسیرگرایانه، به بررسی متون فلسفی، عرفانی، و نظریات معماری سنتی و معناگرای معاصر می‌پردازد. با تحلیل اسنادی و مقایسه تطبیقی نمونه‌هایی همچون بافت تاریخی یزد، تلاش شده است تا عناصر مولفه‌های فضایی حکمت‌محور شناسایی و قابلیت‌های بازتولید آن‌ها در معماری معاصر ارزیابی شود. چارچوب نظری پژوهش بر مبانی حکمت اسلامی، آرای متفکرانی چون ملاصدرا، سید حسین نصر، رنه گنون، هانری کربن و کریستوفر الکساندر استوار است. یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که فضا در سنت‌های حکمی، ساحتی وجودی برای تجلی معنا، اتصال با نظام کیهانی و تجربه تعالی تلقی می‌شود؛ درحالی‌که در طراحی‌های مدرن، این لایه معنایی به حاشیه رانده شده است. در پاسخ به این گسست، پنج راهبرد برای بازتعریف جایگاه حکمت در طراحی فضایی پیشنهاد می‌شود: 1) طراحی از مسیر شهود و پالایش درونی معمار، 2) تدوین زبان الگو و بانک دانش معماری سنتی، 3) بازآفرینی شهری با منطق حکمت عملی، 4) احیای انتقادی الگوهای بومی، و 5) ارتقای رویکرد شهرسازی معناگرا در مقیاس کلان. این راهبردها مستلزم تحول در آموزش معماری، بازاندیشی در نقش معمار، و ادغام ابعاد عقلانی، شهودی و معنوی در فرایند طراحی هستند. در نهایت، پژوهش بر آن است که حکمت می‌تواند پیوندی احیاگر میان فرم، معنا و انسان در معماری معاصر برقرار سازد.

deliberation on the relationship between spiritual wisdom and architecture and urban planning; the necessity of redefining the place of wisdom in creating meaningful spaces: a comparative study of the traditional and modern urban fabric of yazd

this study aims to investigate the relationship between spiritual wisdom and architecture and urban planning, focusing on the potential for revitalizing meaningful spaces within contemporary design practices. adopting an interdisciplinary framework and employing a conceptual-interpretive methodology, the research analyzes philosophical, mystical, and traditional architectural texts, alongside contemporary meaning-oriented theories. through documentary analysis and comparative examination—particularly of historical urban fabrics such as yazd—the study identifies spatial components grounded in wisdom traditions and evaluates their applicability to modern architectural contexts. the theoretical framework is informed by islamic philosophy and the views of thinkers such as mulla sadra, seyyed hossein nasr, rené guénon, henry corbin, and christopher alexander.findings suggest that, within wisdom-based traditions, space is not merely a physical construct but a metaphysical field for the manifestation of meaning, connection to cosmic order, and experience of transcendence. in contrast, contemporary architectural approaches often neglect this spiritual dimension. in response, the research proposes five strategic directions for reestablishing the role of wisdom in spatial design: (1) initiating the design process through inner purification and intuitive insight; (2) developing a pattern language and traditional architectural knowledge base; (3) reimagining urban regeneration through the lens of practical wisdom; (4) critically reviving indigenous design models; and (5) enhancing spiritually-oriented urban planning at the macro scale. these strategies necessitate a transformation in architectural education, a redefinition of the architect’s role, and the integration of rational, intuitive, and spiritual dimensions into the design process. ultimately, the study argues that wisdom offers a regenerative link between form, meaning, and human experience in contemporary architecture.
